This week it’s the turn of Tollywood stars to add some stardust to the city. Reports say leading Malayalam actor Prithviraj (who was seen in ‘Aiyaa’ with Rani Mukerji) and ‘Kolaveri Di’ and ‘Ranjhanaa’ sensation Dhanush will be seen in Abu Dhabi on Thursday.
The duo will apparently be in town to inaugurate an outlet of the leading retail store Kalyan Silks in Abu Dhabi’s Al Falah cross junction. Incidentally, Prithvi has been a Kalyan Silks ambassador for quite a while now. In an interview he had claimed that the reason he chose to endorse the brand was because they had approached him personally and did not treat the deal as mere business. The star had also commented that he did not believe in too many endorsements since he was getting enough money from films!
But Prithvi won’t be alone this time as Dhanush, the latest Kalyan Silks ambassador will be present as well. The Tamil superstar’s popularity has hit the roof after his successful debut in Bollywood earlier this year. Kalyan Silks has also signed on Amitabh Bachchan and Aishwarya Rai Bachchan for their ad campaigns. More-Info
