If the chemistry shared by the hilarious 'Delhi Belly' trio - Imran Khan, Vir Das and Kunaal Roy Kapur - is anything to go by, we've got one madly funny movie to look forward to! Imran, Vir and Kunaal were in Dubai this weekend and we had ample evidence that this is one set of stars who really know how to have fun!
They partied with fans in the city at It's Mirchi at the Ramee Royal Hotel on Thursday night (June 23), and come Friday afternoon (June 24), they got chatting with Team Masala! at the Park Hyatt. We wanted to know what the guys had to say about the controversy surrounding their movie, their item number preferences (you've got to hear Vir Das's answer that combines the best of Katrina and Malaika's item song qualities) and real-life cases of 'Delhi Belly'. In what way are you similar to the characters you play in 'Delhi Belly'?
Kunaal: My character is large and I just happen to be. He is a photographer and I happen to be a photographer as well. Also my wife would claim that the messiness is a similarity. I don't see that as a similarity! Apart from that, he is quite different. He is a guy who would run away from a tough situation, leave his friends. Actually, that is pretty much like me!

Vir: I am the polar opposite of my character. My character has money, women talk to him! Seriously, my character is a very unhappy, frustrated, dry, caustic guy. I am not like that at all.
Imran: The only real thing I have in common with Tashi is our sense of humour - it's a very dry, deadpan, straight-faced sense-of-humour. He is a guy who is very content to let life take him wherever it does. I'm a little bit of a control freak.
In what way are you a control freak?
Imran: Well, you should come and sit where I'm sitting right now and I'll ask you the questions (laughs). Actually I like everything perpendicular. On my table, in my bathroom, things have to be at 90 degrees.

If you had to be part of an item number, what would it be like?
Kunaal: No one would want me in an item number! If I did it, I'd want to do it as myself. And it would be really dirty and gross! That's the only way I would want to do an item number.

Vir: I like to outdo people so my aim would have to be something would be to marry 'jawaani' and 'badnaami'! To have a synergy of the two - jadnaami! More Info
